Passive adapters rely on the DisplayPort source output supporting DP++ in order to pass video signals to a DVI display.
Our adapter supports resolutions up to 1920×1200 @ 60Hz refresh rate.
Plugable's DPM-DVIF adapter is compatible with systems that have a Dual-Mode DisplayPort output port (DP++) on a laptop, desktop or tablet PC to add a DVI capable monitor, TV or projector.
This adapter is not bi-directional and will not convert in the other direction.

Note: Dual-Mode DisplayPort source ports are often noted with a DP++ symbol next to the port itself. If unsure if your DisplayPort is DP++ capable, please check with your system manufacturer.
