Tapping the function key plus a letter switches between compatibility modes for Android, iOS, and Windows, activating a device-appropriate set of function keys. These include keys for Home, Search, Cut, Copy, Paste, Rewind, Play/Pause, Fast-Foward, and Volume Up/Down. The Windows compatibility mode activates a full set of F1 through F12 function keys.
